CGV Lobby Digitalization

A digital lobby renovation specialized for CGV

CGV requested us for developing a new lobby system and we created a specialized strategy with digital solution. We have kept the strategy and built a digitalized lobby in one of the largest CGV theater on its renovation period.

Challenge and Process

As reaching to the limitation of revenue of screen commercial, CGV has needed to develop a new media system to keep increasing its brand value. Their ultimate goal was to plan/develop media renovation of lobby for all of their theaters.

Before starting the project, we made a roadmap and set a process of development for a success renovation. As following our project roadmap, we approached from the perspective of UX to solve the problem.

Before the Renovation

CGV's old theater in Yongsan, Seoul, had old-fashioned media platform such as a cloth banner in the lobby. By following our UX perspective and project strategy, CGV asked us to develop new lobby system and we adopted digital signage to digitalize the theater.

Digitalization Completed

We adopted huge digital signages to make theater much digitalized. All signages are connected to management system (CMS) so that administrators can switch/re-schedule the media easily.
